
About Wilson Cooper
Wilson Cooper is a Scottish guitarist, singer and songwriter from Glasgow. He is the founder and frontman of Glasgow-based funk/rock band, Wilson Cooper & The MB's.
Wilson Cooper has been playing the guitar from the age of five and has played professionally since his early teens. He first came to the public's attention as a teenager when he appeared on Scottish television playing blues guitar.
Widely considered to be a gifted guitarist, Wilson Cooper possesses a unique style that has earned him international acclaim from fellow musicians, fans and critics alike. His ability to blend diverse musical influences and dedication to creating immersive experiences has captivated and enthralled audiences. His signature style skilfully combines his mastery, emotion and humour, with an engaging stage presence. Wilson Cooper has performed internationally for audiences beyond the U.K. in Ireland, Spain, Italy, USA, Australia and New Zealand.

- 2002: First solo artist slot at Kirkmichael International Guitar Festival by Martin Taylor
- 2004 performance of Rodrigo's Concerto de Aranjuez with Royal Scottish National Orchestra in the Henry Wood Hall, Glasgow, to high critical acclaim
